Price
The cost of an 8 ft. x 2 ft. table in the Artist Alley is $25.
Types of Art
Traditional – Any art that is created by traditional means, such as drawing/sketches, painting, digital creations, buttons, badges, etc.
Fiber – Any art that is made by hand, such as clothing, cosplay props, hats, raver gear, including items created by knitting, crochet, cross stitch, etc.
Webcomic – Any artist who wishes to promote their online comic.
Club – Any group that wishes to promote their club. The purpose of the table is to promote the group by having displays, distributing flyers, membership signup, and selling items that promote the group (t-shirts, buttons, badges, etc.).
Artist Alley Rules
The purpose of the Artist Alley is for artists to display and sell their art and receive commissions for their art. Fan Art is restricted to 40% of the artist's entire display. Fan Art must be original design, in the Artist's style and poses. Commercial merchandise should not be sold unless the Artist is the creator.
Any mature artwork (for con goers 18 and over) cannot be openly displayed. Kaboombash! Is an event for all ages and there may be children present. You may have a separate portfolio to display art of this nature.
Kaboombash! will not be held liable for any loss of equipment, merchandise, revenues, or any damages, however caused. The convention will try to provide the best security possible, however, artists are responsible for their own property. Kaboombash! is not responsible for any actions of artists in the convention.
Artist Alley Payment
There are two ways to make payment. The Virginia Beach Anime group will be at Anime Mid-Atlantic. Any payment for tables can be made at the convention. You can pay with cash, check, or credit card.
